| 22 May 2004 | Heather R. Woods | Loading...okay, ur probably getting tired of my suggestions now but here it goes =) The arm holding the mug is sagging, like theres no bone there, and the hands are kinda small. The facial expression is good, and once again, nice shading. | |
| 11 Aug 2004 | Rae smith | Loading...as the previous person mentioned the arm is a bit, erm, saggy. She is slightly out of porportion, kinda looks anorexic. her hiar line should be a bit lower. you did great on shading and color choice is awsome. Rachel Laurita R. Williamson replies: "I posted the pic, flaws and all, hoping someone could tell me what I was doing wrong. I just can't seem to get it right. There are a few things I like about it. The texturing on the wall amd the wood graining. Oh, well. Practice some more. " | |

| 29 Oct 2006 | Imola L Saraine aka Mio | Loading...The background is fascinating. The first thing I noticed was how well the wall is drawn, that part is my favourite. The others mentioned already the proportion parts (suggestion: put your wrist against your shoulder (as much as you can) and you will see what ratio the arm has, Pay attention to where your elbow is compared to other bodyparts. The other method is to use her head or her palm to express the relative size of the body parts. I prefer the palm because that way I can always check on myself, my arm is eg trice my palm, my head is 1,5 my palm etc. I hope this helps you too. Also there are some good tutorials in FARP section).
I love the shading a lot, but I wish she would be less fuzzy and there was more definition in her contours. This way it is too blurry for me. The idea and the colours are great. | |
